International Tourist Tariff
International Tourist Tariff is set by the Royal Government of Bhutan and is valid for all-inclusive packages.

The tariffs for tourists visiting in a group of three or more are as follows:

High Season	January - December	US$ 250 per person per night in Bhutan

The rates for cultural tours and treks are the same.

Entitlements
These minimum daily package rates are inclusive of the following services, royalty and taxes:

1. Accommodation on twin sharing basis
2. All transfers and sightseeing within Bhutan
3. Services of accompanied guide
4. All three meals
5. 35% royalty & taxes to the government
6. Riding ponies and pack animals on treks
7. Fees to temples & monuments

The rates given above are applicable per tourist per night halt in Bhutan. On the day of departure, the local agent's obligation shall be limited to breakfast only and any extra requirement shall be payable on actual basis.

The above rates apply uniformly irrespective of locations and the type of accommodation provided/asked for. These accommodation establishments are approved by Department of Tourism.

TARIFF FOR INDIVIDUAL AND SMALL GROUPS (FITs)
Individual tourists and smaller groups of less than three persons shall be subject to surcharges, as follows:
Single Individual: US$ 40/ per night halt
Group of 02: US$ 30/ per person per night halt

These FIT surcharges are net payable (non commissionable)

All tourists are required to pay US$ 05 per visit as Tourism development contribution, plus your visa fee of US$20 per person per visit.

Discount on tourist tariff

1. DIPLOMATS from foreign embassies/missions accredited to Bhutan shall be given a 25% discount on the daily rates.
2. There shall be no charge for CHILDREN up to the age of 5 years. However, those between the ages of 6 to 12 years accompanied by elders/guardians shall be given a 50% discount on daily rates.
3. Full time Students below the age of 25 years holding valid identity cards from their academic institutions shall also be given a 25% discount on daily rates.

Not included in your tariff:

1. Your travel insurance which we recommend is a must
2. Your personal medical care
3. Tips to local guide and staff attending you if you are happy with their services. (Not compulsory)
4. Emergency evacuation, if required during your trip
5. Your alcohol / beverage drinks

CANCELLATION
Tour Programs booked and subsequently cancelled shall be subject to cancellation charges as follows: -

1. Within 45 days of the start of the tour program: 0nly 200US$ per person
2. Within 30 days: 50%of the rate refundable
3. Less than 29 days or cancellation without notice: 100% non-refundable

DELAYED ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE

1. There shall be no fixed charge for the number of days of delay in arrival of visitors due to Druk Air problems or road blocks, actual minimum charge on hotel cancellation, food if ordered, transport & guide.
2. There shall be no fix tariff charges for the number of days of delay in departure of visitor due to weather conditions, DrukAir problems or roadblocks. The guest will be charged only the actual expenses on accommodation, food transport, guide service and any other services that is requested by the guest during their stay.

SINGLE ROOM SUPPLEMENTS
The quoted package rates are valid for accommodation on twin sharing basis and following supplements will be applicable in-case of single room accommodation: -

For :Festival season = US$ 50 / per single room per nightstay
Other than festival season only US$ 35 per single room per night stay

REMITTANCE OF TOUR PAYMENT
Tour payment must be settled one month prior to date of arrival in Bhutan, as VISA is cleared by the government subject to advance payment only.

Entire tour payment must be sent to Sky Travels by Bank transfer, in advance, within the time period specified below: -

• For FITs: 60 days in advance
• For GROUP: 60 days in advance
• For Festival Tours: 60 to 90 days in advance

Services are confirmed subject to advance payment only.

For high seasons (March, April, May, Sept, Oct, Nov) it is advisable to Wire the payment so that we can book your Druk air seats in advance asDruk Air flights are booked 3 months in advance. This will help us in getting your seats confirmed for your trip.
